What happens if i cant do what i want Having talked to the tutors involved with the show i have discovered they are very happy to take part in a video and know some students will be happy to take part. Though of course this is not a garauntee that it will be the case, so in light of this i have two plans for my Video project. 1) The key proposal - With student participation and Diolauge 2) No student participation - they appear on camera but dont speak a voice over will keep continuity 3) No student on camera demonstration of techniques showing only hands. I’m also aware that college polices dictate rules on students appearing on video and publicity and that this is inforced by law. So it is of paramount importance to meet with marketing as early as possible to understand whats possible and what isnt. The distrobution of the dvd also is limited due to budgetary constraints and may or may not be freely distributable with the parents invites. This is also dependant on the college polices about students and filming. Another consideration is not disrupting classes and ensuring that I co- ordinate with others producing video products to produce the video and film. As they are working classes and as I have projects to complete for thier own qualifications. All considering i would like to follow the following plan. week 1 - Negociate with Tutors on courses 3 students with process dependant pieces that would be happy to be profiled. Talk with Marketing Department about polices and law regarding filming. Week 2 - Filming week A Film Generic classroom shots and at least two profiles Week 3 Film staff and supplementary shots and if allowed final process week 4 Editing and scripting of voice over Week 5 Editing Week 6 Final edits and submission
